We Made It!

This week was our first week in Malmo! We arrived late on Saturday night, so therefore we were fortunate enough to have the whole day on Sunday to explore the city and get acclimated before our first day of school on Monday! Malmo is full of beautiful streets, restaurants, and shops. We are excited to call this amazing city home for the next four weeks!

Stockholm!

During our first weekend abroad, my friends and thought it would be fitting to visit Stockholm, the capital of Sweden for our first travel experience! We had a wonderful time! Although it was very chilly, we bundled up and explored the city, ate delicious Swedish food, and visited the famous castle in Stockholm!

Berlin!

During our Sports Break, my friends and I planned a full itinerary of travels! First stop, Berlin! We loved our time in Berlin. The weather was perfect, the food was amazing, and the culture was like nothing I have ever experienced. Here we are pictured in front of the Berlin Wall! So much history took place here, and it was fascinating to learn all about it and see it first hand. The wall was much longer than I expected and was covered with beautiful designs, colors, and murals.

Prague!

Next stop, Prague! Prague was one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen in my life! Although we only spent a short amount of time here, we did our best to see as much as we could including the castle, the Lennon Wall, and the astronomical clock in Old Town Square.

Switzerland!

Our third stop during our break was to Interlaken, Switzerland, the most beautiful place in the world! I have never encountered so many beautiful views, mountains, and lakes. Here in Interlaken, we explored the little town, ate delicious Swiss chocolate, ate pizza in the park while enjoying the mountainous views, hiked around neighboring towns, and took in the people scenery and weather! I can easily say that Switzerland has been my favorite place we have visited so far, and I hope to visit again in the future!

Amsterdam!

Our last stop during our “Sports Break” was to Amsterdam! We had an awesome time. The weather was perfect the entire time,  I did not even need my jacket which is usually a very unlikely case in Europe during the month of February. We toured the city, went to the Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh Museum, and had a picnic in the park! It was a wonderful way to end our travels abroad!
